Nenia is a wheelchair user from the Upper Valley who felt betrayed when her favorite clothes no longer fit her the same after she started using her wheelchair.

But what was worse was the struggle to buy new clothes. The endless trial and error of purchasing garments that needed to be sent back after she discovered they didn’t work with her chair led her to wonder why companies weren’t showing clothes on seated models to begin with. After all, everyone sits at some point during their day.

She started showing seated clothing reviews online, and found that other wheelchair users were struggling with this issue, too. And thus, the Seated Model Pledge was born!
